Identity Theft Warning Signs

Be aware of the following signs of identity theft:
- Denial of credit for no apparent reason.
- Fraudulent charges on your credit or debit card statement.
- Credit card or financial statements don't arrive.
- Bills arrive for goods or services you didn't request, or accounts you did not open.
- Suspicious inquiries or accounts on your credit report.
- Phone calls from creditors for debts you do not owe.
- Checks missing from your checkbook.
- Phone calls from your credit card or financial institution's security department asking about purchases you did not make.
- Your debit/credit card is rejected by a merchant.
Report any of these signs immediately. The quicker you act, the more protected you will be.
