Coins of America: Coins, Commemoratives and Fine Jewelry
The States Quarter Program

2003 State Quarters: Illinois, Alabama, Maine, Missouri and Arkansas.Five times every year, the U.S. quarter becomes the most sought-after coin in the world.

And with Coins of America's State Quarter Collections, you have a unique way to own it!

The U.S. Mint's 50 State Quarters Program™ has turned America into a nation of quarter collectors: right now more than half the country is actively collecting
them and anxiously awaiting the next release.

A new quarter will be released every 10 weeks through 2008. For 2009, President Bush signed The District of Columbia and United States Territories Quarter Program bill into law, which will add six new quarters to commemorate the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the United States Virgin Islands and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Our State Quarter Collections are a better way to collect the State Quarters

There are two State Quarters in every CollectionCoins of America has taken this great idea a step farther: we package two State Quarters in a colorful, informative, tri-fold display card that's full of interesting facts about the state's history and culture.

Two State Quarters in Each Collection
Two mints, Denver and Philadelphia, produce State Quarters for circulation, and we include one from each mint in every Collection. Look for the "D" and "P" mint mark next to George Washington on the front of the coin. This is the only place you'll get both quarters outside of specialty coin stores.

Uncirculated Quarters
We get our quarters straight from the mints, sort them, check them for quality and condition, and package them in a protective shell. Our State Quarters have never been handled by the public and are in pristine condition.

Learn the Story Behind the Coin
We research the history of each quarter's design and explain what each element represents and why it was chosen.

Learn the Story of Our Country
We also research the history and heritage of each state, and fill our Collections with the most interesting stories we can find. You'll learn the things that give each state its unique character and its unique place in the history of America.
