Guidelines for Requesting Mortgage Payoff Information or Mortgage Subordinations

To receive MORTGAGE PAYOFF information please fax a request to us at 989-832-2021, and include the following details:
(TURNAROUND TIME FOR PAYOFF REQUESTS IS UP TO 2 BUSINESS DAYS)

  • A GENERAL AUTHORIZATION TO RELEASE INFORMATION signed by our member to the mortgage department at 989-832-2021
  • A street ADDRESS for the location payoff property
  • A GOOD-THROUGH DATE which includes time for DCECU to receive and process the payoff check
  • A NAME, CONTACT NUMBER, and return FAX NUMBER
  • Please also state whether the request is for a SALE OR REFINANCE
To receive a MORTGAGE SUBORDINATION please fax a request to us at 989-832-2021, and include the following details:
(TURNAROUND TIME IS UP TO 5 BUSINESS DAYS)
  • The first two pages of the APPRAISAL
  • The new TITLE COMMITMENT (Commitment must show new mortgage amount with new lender and lender’s name)
  • Federal Express account number, if subordination is to be shipped overnight
Please Be Aware: Subordinations will be typed identically to the title work that is sent to us. We do not currently charge for subordinations. DCECU will not subordinate to the third lien position.
