Employees of the DCECU Select Employer Group MidMichigan Health recently learned about the benefits of DCECU membership during MidMichigan Health’s Financial Wellness Days, a series of weeklong events designed to help them explore options for banking, retirement and insurance, among other financial topics.
The traveling event took place at MidMichigan Health sites in Midland (two days) and in Alma, Clare and Gladwin (one day each). DCECU had representatives on-site each day.

In all, about fifty new members joined the credit union during the event – including Angela Munro, bariatric program nurse coordinator for MidMichigan Medical Center - Gratiot, who also won the drawing for the Fitbit.
“I never win anything,” Munro said when DCECU representatives visited her to present the prize. “I can’t believe I won the Fitbit! I’m a runner and have been wanting a Fitbit to keep track of my heart rate.”
When asked what motivated her to join DCECU, Munro cited some of the many benefits of membership, including: “convenient features such as Online Bill Pay and Mobile Banking … and of course the Loan Interest Rebate!”
