Have you ever mistyped your password? We have too! That’s why we’re making mistyped passwords a thing of the past with Biometric Authentication!
Biometric Authentication is a process that uses biological characteristics - rather than a password - to verify your identity.
Our Mobile Banking app now offers fingerprint authentication at sign in for supported devices1.
Once you have updated your app, you should see a yellow fingerprint icon at the sign in screen if your device is supported.
If you don’t have a device that supports fingerprint authentication, don’t worry! Our team is continually exploring other options to expand our Biometric Authentication offerings.
- Open your DCECU Mobile Banking app
- Sign in to your account
- Tap the Menu icon in the upper left-hand corner
- Tap “Settings” from the bottom of the menu
- Tap the fingerprint toggle switch
- You will be prompted to scan your fingerprint to verify your enrollment
